Silverwood Park | NE Minneapolis, MN

Hi guys, Munce here. When you’re in Northeast, one of my favorite places to go park-wise is Silverwood park. My daughter, Billie and I are here, you can see they’re playing soccer in the background. I can give you a quick little tour here!

We just walked from the main entrance over the bridge onto the island in Silver Lake in Silverwood park. And the views here are gorgeous. Great place to go hiking and biking. One of the great things about this park is that there is sculpture art located all over the park, hidden back in the trails for you to discover. There’s also an incredible visitor center, which not only has a cafe, but also an art gallery where they switch the art up every few months and a little shop. We just got done with our long hike and all I can say is if you’re in Northeast Minneapolis, come on out to Silverwood park and check out all the trails, the art, the info center, and the summer classes that they offer for people. It’ll be well worth your time!
